The AIOS Method

THE STACK

Free, no email

What we pay for AI every month.

Every tool we run, what it does and what it costs. Eleven lines, RM3,884 a month, nothing left out and nothing rounded up.

These are July’s numbers in ringgit, at the rate we were billed. Your bill will look different, and most of this list is not where you should start.

The whole stack costs less than one salary and does the work of more than one person.

The eleven lines.

Ordered cheapest to dearest, which is roughly the order they became worth paying for.

Wispr FlowRM63
Turns speech into typing anywhere on the machine. Sean talks to his AI instead of typing to it, which is a good deal faster.
DescriptRM73
Edits video by editing the transcript. Delete the sentence, the footage goes with it.
FirecrawlRM80
Reads websites your AI otherwise cannot open, and hands back clean text.
Windsor.aiRM96
Pulls ad and sales data out of Google, Meta and Shopify into one place, so reporting stops being copy and paste.
ApifyRM119
Collects public data from sites and platforms on a schedule. Competitor research that runs itself.
PlaudRM130
Records every meeting and writes it up. Notes and follow-ups arrive without anyone taking minutes.
LovableRM203
Builds the front end of an app from a description, so an idea gets a working screen the same day.
ChatGPTRM245
Three seats. The everyday chat the team already knows, and the second opinion when an answer looks wrong.
HiggsfieldRM339
Generates video for ads and content.
Kie.aiRM818
One account that reaches most of the image and video models, billed by usage rather than a seat each.
ClaudeRM1,718
The engine the business runs on: writing, thinking and every internal app and automation we have built.
TotalRM3,884

Claude is 44% of the bill on its own. That is not an accident and it is the honest shape of a stack that does real work: one tool does the thinking, and everything else feeds it or delivers what it made.

WHAT IT PRODUCES

What that bill produces.

A number on its own proves nothing, so here is what sits on the other side of it. Six live internal apps and operating systems, built for our own companies. Fifteen automated routines that run daily without anyone starting them: reports, meeting digests, finance checks. Over RM1 million in new business closed on proposals these systems wrote.

Hiring one person to cover that work would cost more than RM3,884 a month in this market, and they would still need the tools.

WHERE TO START

Where to start if you are starting.

Do not copy this list. It is eleven lines because it grew over two years, one problem at a time. Starting from nothing, this is the order that gets you the most for the least.

  1. Buy one chat seat, about RM80 a month.

One seat on Claude or ChatGPT, whichever your team will open. Everything below level two works on the free tier, so the paid seat only earns its keep once you have written your business down. Until then you are paying for a faster way to get generic answers.

  2. Add speech next, at RM63 a month.

Talking is faster than typing, and the reason most people give up on AI is that explaining the job takes longer than doing it. This is the cheapest line on the list and the one that changed the most about how the work feels.

  3. Buy the rest one problem at a time.

Nothing here until something hurts. Every other line started as a job that was costing hours a week. The meeting notes tool arrived because writing them up was eating a morning. The data tool arrived because monthly reporting had become copy and paste by hand. Buy the fix when you feel the problem, and not before.

The tools are the cheap part. What makes them work is your business written down where the AI can read it, and that costs nothing but an afternoon.

BEFORE YOU COPY IT

Read this before you copy the list.

This is a marketing agency's stack.
Half of it exists because we make video and run ads. If you sell mattresses or run a clinic, the video and scraping lines are not your lines.
Usage tools have no ceiling.
Kie.ai is billed by what we generate, so a heavy month costs more than a quiet one. Set a spending cap on any usage-billed account before you turn it on.
The bill went up as the work went up.
February was one chat subscription. The stack grew because the output grew, and not the other way round.
We pay for two things that most people would not.
The image and video generation lines exist because clients buy that work from us. Take them out and the same stack runs at about RM2,700.

LEVEL ONE

Tools are level one of the method.

Level one is chat: you ask, you get an answer, and tomorrow you type it all again. Every tool on this page sits at that level until your business is written down for it to read. That is level two, it costs nothing, and it is the step that makes the subscriptions worth paying for.
